Distributed: Trade Hackathon at T-REX

THE CHALLENGE

Developers, students and aspiring entrepreneurs will have 24 hours to showcase their skills and vision for the next generation of financial services and global supply chains. The in-person competition is being held at St. Louis’s world-class start-up accelerator venue T-REX, and will be judged by a panel of experts from the industry and leading venture capital firms looking for the the next big disruptive ideas. Teams must be present to pitch to the judges and be eligible for a prize, no online submissions will be accepted this time.

DAY ONE Saturday, July 22nd

10:30am - 11:30am  Hackathon Registration

11:00am - 12:00pm  Lunch Break (on your own)

12:00pm - 12:15pm Introduction, initial remarks, hacking guidelines and special prizes announced

12:15pm - 12:30pm Special remarks from our Sponsors : RGAx, Qtum, and Hyperledger

12:30pm - 1:00pm Team formation

1:00pm Hackathon starts

1:30pm  Blockchain 101 presentation by Dev Bharel from the Blockchain Education Network (BEN)

5:00pm Dinner served

DAY TWO Sunday, July 23rd

9:00am - 12:00pm Presentation rehearsals

12:30pm - 1:30pm Lunch served

1:00pm Hacking ends, projects must be submitted on Devpost

3:30pm - 4:30pm Judges deliberate

Eligibility

We believe technology should be built by people with different backgrounds and perspectives. All are welcome and we’d love to have a diverse, comfortable, creative environment for everyone! Any attendees under the age of 18 will need written permission from a parent or guardian to attend.

Requirements

The judges will award the first place prize to the team that builds the best application of blockchain technology. All submissions must be posted on Devpost.
